This app has been such a blessing. Due to its individual nature, I accept been allowed to maintain my privacy while withal being able to share photos of my child with my family, many of whom have smart phones but don't use social media. I enjoy the convenience of being able to upload to one place without having to individually text photos to my family. The app and desktop version has immune for members of my family who aren't so tech savvy to be apart of experiencing the memories nosotros share as well.
I haven't used the features of being able to buy the books for the month memories nonetheless just I capeesh the option.
A big matter I savor as well is that the photos are grouped by month and then it'south not only one big stream of photos and videos.
I would give it 4.8 stars until the app allows uploads to go along fifty-fifty when the app is momentarily closed. I've been uploading and exit the app to respond to a text and it'll pause the upload until I return which annoys me. I also wish that the comment feature had a way to tag the person you are responding to so they go enlightened of a response directed to them, simply that'southward hardly been an upshot.

I've used the complimentary version of this since 2018, but now that the boys are older and I'm fifty-fifty more nostalgic I've gotten the paid portion and it's AMAZING.

I love that it lets you lot comment on them. And I honey that after yous upload a picture it doesn't show that aforementioned picture show every bit an uploadable option anymore.

The captions gave family members more insight into what was going on and I wrote the captions from our kids' perspective which gave the photos and videos "personality" and an opportunity for sense of humor. The likes simply fabricated everyone experience a niggling more connected considering you could encounter people were viewing the photos together fifty-fifty if they didn't have a comment. I practice really appreciate that the complimentary version of this app is still functional in a lot of means only information technology has definitely been a stride dorsum from the experience my family had using LifeCake.
